Jungle Squad was a division of the Army of the Southern Cross.
HistoryEditThe soldiers of the Jungle squad were experts in jungle survival and operations. Their primary purpose was combat and intelligence. During the Reconstruction Era, many of the JS troops were deployed in the Amazon jungles of the South America, as well as some areas around Indochinese belt and Indonesian Quadrants.
The JS were capable jungle fighters, familiar with commando and guerilla tactics. Assignments could range from reconnaissance, assault, rescue, intelligence, escort, tracking of a fugitive, or search and destroy. The JS used battloids, such as the CBL-8 Dryad, in the field, usually for clearing dense foliage in preparation for a major operation.
